Trying to get folks to move off of Meetup onto something like gettogether.community has proven rough, even though I'm rather convinced that WeWork (the company that bought meetup.com and a bunch of other companies) is going to literally implode with their failed IPO and CEO ouster.

Problem is that folks will just move to whatever is easiest and that is not "type in g e t t o...", because at that point they have to think about what it is they're using.
