   In my session with a Sales Engineer the other day, he took one look at my development environment (Atom and a terminal) and said

   "You know, developers would respect you a lot if you used the latest Visual Studio instead."

   And I admit, it did look nice, and I'll admit that #Atom isn't perfect. I'm sure he meant nothing by what he said.

   But being criticized for tool selection feels incredibly strange.
