    @mirzaba No? As I have said before, the AGPL and SSPL are plenty restrictive enough for GOOG etc to avoid them. I haven't seen any license yet that can deal with the Gab problem without having unintended consequences.

    On a philosophical level I think it's good that we question freedom 0, and ask ourselves whose freedoms we want to protect, and whether a new license does anything to address that. What counts as a "user" might also be good to discuss. Like, the free software movement is predicated on the users having sufficient technical know-how. Is this good or bad? Or both?

    I've been cautiously optimistic about some of these new licenses, but I find myself more skeptical nowadays, for reasons that I have already written on here
