I read it but I don't really like the idea because it is (1) again centralized and everyone need a "git-something" account and (2) it feels odd to use a issues for comments. For git I would rather prefer something like https://staticman.net/ if it would work with Gitlab. But for now I will explore the Friendica way because I consider a social network for comments more natural and it is nicely federated and works with Friendica, GNU Social, Mastodon, Diaspora.
