But I will say this: being a trans femme hasn't made a difference to most people. I'm expected to do all the things a man does, even when I can't (think open jars, fix things, etc.). People are always willing to help the damsel in distress until I open my mouth. Then suddenly nope I don't need help.
What little privilege ladies get, I don't have.
I feel like I'm in purgatory.
