@Eweish @Sapphicgiraffic I think it would be a dreadful shame if the diverse genders around the world all became flattened into the white western medicalized model

Thanks to the work of Indigenous people I think there is a growing awareness "on the ground" of how dismantling the gender binary is a key part of decolonizing and vice versa. Thinking of local youth activism around the provincial government rolling back both queer/trans-inclusive sex ed & proposed Indigenous curriculum.
