Mark Shane Hayden@ink_slinger perhaps it's my introverted nature but I'd probably prefer the company of a smaller gathering of family and close friends...at least that is where I felt comforted the most in trying times. That said, I'm sure some people would appreciate the support of others sharing the same kind of loss.
Unsolicited invitations like this though...can't say that's the best idea even if well intentioned. Not everyone may react well to this approach.
