captain typ0@sikkdays Yeah, this is one of the reasons I would be hesitant to do a truly self-hosted solution (as in, hosted on a server that I physically own and keep in my house, rather than "self-hosted" in the sense of using Dreamhost or something). Maybe it'd work for a primarily personal email that I only use for connecting with people I know personally who could whitelist me. But then I'd still need another account for basic stuff like applying for jobs or setting up accounts.
