Christmas and that whole holiday season is great because it makes winter brighter, more festive and generally more bearable.

The problem is that it's really just at the start of the hardest part of winter. Jan/Feb is when it gets really cold AF outside. And, for some reason, even though winter solstice has already passed, it seems like the days are actually SHORTER (like, it's still dark when I leave for work, which wasn't the case before the holidays).
