Every few months, conditions are right for sonic booms to be carried in off the ocean from the big test range a ways offshore. Heard/felt a bunch of them this morning, the first since we moved thirty-some miles inland.

Predictably, one of the local papers ran the usual "OH EM GEE WHAT COULD IT BE?!" article.
