Between Knuckleheads, All The Smoke, No Chill, Bron Bron's The Shop, Pull Up with CJ, Ledlow And Parker, etc it's so much more interesting to hear pro players talk about the game than some white sports writer who is just trying to get clicks.

And it's not just the insights to playing a pro sport for a living in a racist country, but also how they talk about their culture, their humanity and up and downs with such honesty and heart.

They are so loving and supportive of each other.

I got irritated at this story of Kyrie Irving going around about his 'moodiness' and how that potentially is giving the Nets some reason to worry.

I sent the story to a therapist friend of mine and she said it seems like he has social anxiety, but they are framing it like there is something wrong with him.

It's funny how media is so quick to context white men that shoot up schools as 'mentally challenged, but Black folks who don't fit their stereotype are just... unstable people.

The culture that mainstream media describes in pro sports is completely different from what the actual culture is.

I've been fortunate enough to meet and know some pro players in my life and, to a person, they are the most kind, thoughtful and generous people I've ever come across.

It is so refreshing to hear them talk about what they experience in their own words. I *love* how they are taking control of their own narrative and we're seeing how biased sports 'journalists' are.
