The city asked me what I thought it should do to address homelessness and I said to build housing faster than the companies were bringing people here.
I'm not even sure why people are asking this question; this solution is dead obvious if you have two brain cells to rub together. The solution to homelessness is to give people homes. The solution to poverty is to give people money. Duh.

@freakazoid But people have to be *deserving* of homes and money.
We can't just address basic human needs out of the blue. That would be un-American.
