@msh I don't think even Mulroney was a "Red Tory" by the original definition. He started out sounding like one, but then he signed NAFTA and embraced neo-liberalism along with Thatcher and Reagan (though, arguable, his was a "softer" version due to Canada's history of Red Toryism, which probably did largely die after the Mulroney years and definitely ceased to exist in mainstream politics by the time of the modern Conservative party coming to power).
