@jeremiah @l0wk3y @Ox @alcade @dave banks factor risk into their profit generating, the fact that banks lobbied to make student debt non dschargeable is a huge tell that banks a) know that university costs too much and b) that many if not most people won't be able to pay them back under normal terms. a non-crooked bank industry would be denying these loans, not asking the government to legalize debt slavery
