#sonTwo still trying to figure out how to install a Linux distro. I didn't find a video for the exact model of Lenovo IdeaPad (the Win10 "notebook/laptop" that is basically just a netbook because of the weak processor, little RAM, and tiny eMMC storage), but the ones I sent should be close. In his defense, the last time he did so, he was probably 15 or 16. He's 32 now.
I think he's probably more confused about getting the Ubuntu ISO onto a flash drive. (I sent a link to something called "Rufus", but told him I've never tried it myself.)
I'm trying mostly to send him video links, so he sees the entire process. If it wasn't for the COVID-19 outbreak, I'd tell him to take his computer

... If it wasn't for the COVID-19 outbreak, I'd tell him to take his computer 2 hours North and have his brother ( #sonOne ) walk him through installing. Being ten years different in age, they haven't ever really been close. Maybe that would be the thing that starts them repairing their relationship.
