   According to the ATT mailer I just received, 'fixed-wireless' is now available in my area. $70 for 'at least' 10Mbps and 160GB monthly cap.

         @alpacaherder Co-worker S received something like that from "Straight Talk" ... they wanted her to switch from landline + DSL with separate cellular phone to a cellular-based 4G LTE device that can answer voice calls on-site or forward to her cellphone. Apparently, they sent the solicitation out to a whole city or county in GA with longtime slow Internet. (S had to put the decision on hold as she got sent to OR for a few months, and is now working in CA.)
