Trump travel ban wins another limited SCOTUS victory: http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/350097-supreme-court-temporarily-blocks-appeals-court-ruling-that-limits

If you don't like his policies, make sure he doesn't get reelected, because legal challenges don't look like they are going to ultimately bear fruit.

@nds There's no "But it's Trump" exception in the Constitution.  It is going to be a long term with more weirdness to come.

@alpacaherder @nds Maybe now, people will understand why I don't enjoy when presidential executive orders are issued (even when I support the order's end goal). And the ability for the next executive to reverse or repeal an order at will is just as discomforting.

I'm much more comfortable seeing issues debated in Congress and passed into real law.

@lnxw48a1 @nds  The Steel Seizure Cases during Truman's presidency remain very instructive.  The Supreme Court opinion is easy to understand

I think the problem is Congress doesn't assert that authority for themselves, because it is easier politically for them to let POTUS take unilateral action.

@nds @lnxw48a1 Then make the members of the House and one-third of the Senate pay dearly in 2018.  They're all up & need defeat in whole.
