huwyte lash@lattera A) Methinks you're overreacting to unsolicited sms, it is not spam and takes all of 5 -10 seconds to process. B) I assume Sunday is your Sabbath, religiously, and not just a secular day of rest where you feel entitled to not being disturbed. If it's a day of worship, just filter sms to only allow notifications if from important contacts. If it's just secular "rest day", I can't really relate.
