This xkcd comic seems to be enjoying a little blush of popularity: https://xkcd.com/1909/ It's also really cool that even modern all-digital movies are archived on rolls of 35mm black-and-white film. A modern movie is terabytes of data. Digital storage is bit-perfect, but doesn't last forever and needs to be continually maintained and upgraded at enormous cost. 35mm black-and-white film, on the other hand, is something you can just bung into a vault and it'll be fine in 100 years' time. Try accessing the data on your hard drive, SSD, or USB stick in 100 years' time and see how that works out for you.
