Way below my #NaNoWriMo limit today, but I took time to make it feel interesting. Figuring out which things should happen in what order can feel pretty challenging. To some extent, it's not initially clear what point a story should narratively start at.

Also experimenting more with "Show, don't tell." Trying to figure out how to convey more feelings and ideas with fewer words.
