I think it is the same thing for most instruments.
Some flute partitions requires breath and finger coordination that are outta this world.
I play with both hand, I can revert their positions without trouble, but I have some trouble with my left ring finger and pinkie while I don't have these troubles my my right hand.
Strange isn't it.
