    There is not One french language in France but multiple dialects.
    Quebecois is the evolution of what used to be the French Parisians.
    In france there's Picard, Chti, and Breton language that are recognized as individual languages that I know of (and who are officially recognized), but there are a lot more, almost each region has it's own variant.
