D Dinosearx is funny. it's a meta search engine, and i've been using it for a few months maybe. you stand up a server which, when you ask it stuff, sends your query to several major search engines and aggregates the results. by proxying like this, it obfuscates your search history.
the thing is, the major search engines think the searx instance is a person. they tailor results for it. it creates a noisy neighbor problem.
which is why all my results are in german now.
