That's indeed a noble artist's stance. - But what would you say if as a freelancer journalist you'd be paid per word count /lines delivered? -

@kuro I'd say, mildly unrealistically, that that's an obsolete model given that column-inches are much less a concern these days. -

@taiganaut Even if you're right about obsolete conditions, some of us earn their living like that. You'd have to be wealthy to be free. -

@kuro It's true. I'm neither wealthy nor free and derive some income from code that is anything but sculpture (#wordpress) :(

@kuro It's definitely an ideal more than a rule. With #code, most isn't so much sculpture as we'd like. But "do one thing well" has merit.
