#France plans to make it illegal to record police. People think it is to enable American-style police killings. https://mobile.twitter.com/wiIdef/status/1329753045496893442

This is a bad law, the yellow vest protests have proven that more than what is tolerable enough. The behavior of some cops are simply uncivilized and they shouldn't be working in this area anymore.

But this law will pass either way because they justify it trough something that is real and that is that a lot of zones in france are considered "zone de non droit" "no right zone" and cops can't go in these zones without attracting riots.

This is, as often, taken by the wrong side of problem. Instead of forbidding people to film, cops should have a publicly available dash cam on them. But that won't happen either because they also receive orders that are also unethical.

As always violence brings more violence.
