Do any of you ever to eat junk food ?
I haven't ate any chips or the like in 2 months and the desire of eating some is strong right now.

@mangeurdenuage For some reason, I can't find xsalt-free potato chips in #SoCal, so I don't eat chips very often. In #MO, most supermarkets have them in small quantities.

@mangeurdenuage Everyday, a small lunch sized bag with lunch.
Completely guessing here but there could be several reasons why you are craving them.
1 Stress - looking for "comfort food"
      2 Your body needs sodium
      3 Sleep issues

There's a scientific reason you crave junk food when you don't get enough sleep CNN

I have found out over time that when I am craving something, my body is usually (not always) lacking something. In the past after doing a fair amount of work outside in the summer months, the amount of chips seems to go up, guessing for sodium replacement. Sometimes for bananas (fiber/potassium).

Why do you crave junk food when you're sleep deprived? Blame your ancestors.

@geniusmusing @mangeurdenuage That article explains a lot. I’ve not been sleeping so well lately, and I’m finding a tremendous urge to go buy some cookies.

Thank for the article it was interesting. I am stressed and have very bad sleeping schedules so I guess it influences me.
Too bad that CNN can't even point out the people or papers they used for this article.
