It does something I don't like though; when you go to war with a faction you massively overpower, the AI still goes and takes your undefended settlements even though they should know they have no possible chance of holding on to them more than a couple of turns. I don't think a human would play like that... -

@guizzy Rebellions in Medieval Total War used to piss me off for the same reason. Long past the point they can survive, rebel factions will continue a fanatic defense.

@guizzy There's not many strategic AI games out there that do this well.
