   I used to write a lot of one-off unofficial training docs for field employees. When I was in #PR, I discovered that one of the people there was collecting such information into a single, unified training guide and maintaining it. I contributed indirectly to the guide and have been utilizing and distributing it since then.
   
   Today, my first "patch" was accepted, a one-line addition.
   
   Hopefully, his guide completely displaces the use of my previous, now outdated and unmaintained, training docs throughout $EMPLOYER.

      not a criticism, but PR is a confusing initialism. To me, it means Personal Record though when patches are involved, it's Pull Request. However, knowing you, I knew it was neither of those. Just a thought.

         @musicman 'Personal Record' is unknown to me, though I am familiarity with 'personnel record' and 'permanent record'.
