      It doesn't make a lot of sense. I'd like to hear the reasoning behind the action. These 2 groups share a lot of interests.

            @alpacaherder I find it hard to believe that "conservancy" and "law center" are confusingly similar.

               I've always confused the two, mostly because they're closely associated with each other, work together and do similar work.

                  I've been confused, but only because I've been following Karen Sandler and Brad Kuhn since before the Conservancy, and I haven't caught up on their professional affiliations.

            I read through some of the documents. I agree that there is confusion, but who is it hurting? And how?

         @gomerx Petitioner's theories seem to revolve around Karen Sandler and her roles in both organizations now that they're separate.

         @gomerx @alpacaherder What they're doing at present with the trademark thing against Conservancy makes no sense to me, especially since they helped set it up in the first place.
         
         I think behind the scenes there's probably some personal grudge match going on.

      @alpacaherder Makes me all the more disappointed that #Diaspora is a part of the FSSN, which seems (I could be wrong) to be the SFLC's alternative to the Conservancy.
