#Daddy_A reports that he found a #White_Castle during his trip to another state. He was excited about it. Now he’s going to need to constrain himself to boiled cabbage for a week to counteract the grease and salt, but I guess it is worth it.

Something I don't miss in the PNW.

The Cozy Inn -- https://www.cozyburger.com/ -- I went here when I was in #KS. The rumor is, this place inspired the launch of White Castle.

Like WC, I found the food too salty and greasy.

Maybe but the timing looks off.

        The Cozy Inn: SINCE 1922

        >White Castle was founded in 1921 in Wichita, Kansas

But then some places are started before they really get cooking. Pun intended.

Also found this on the Cozy Inn site.

Maybe time is slower in the PNW.

Perhaps their goal was to increase the sales of drinks. Profit margins are better with bevarages than with food.

I can tell you (from much experience) the drinking always happens before the visit to White Castle at 03:00-04:00. Also, they were the only one open 24/7 or even open late, long before it became a thing with fast foods.

@geniusmusing @simsa03 That explains much. Whenever I’ve stopped at WC, it was near the midpoint of a long work day.
