      Yesterday, when the report came that they had a verdict, $EMPLOYER ordered all locations closed and all employees to rush home immediately. They wanted to be prepared for a "Not Guilty" verdict's consequences.
      
      As I headed for the hotel, I noticed some black smoke on the horizon, which led me to expect the traditional verdict. When I got to the hotel and saw the Guilty on all charges, it was unexpected, and a relief.

         Maybe, just maybe, this country had started to turn from a place where this is unexpected. Still a long way to go as almost every day I see someone being killed by police when there was no good/valid reason to shoot them. I can only hope things change at a faster rate from here.

         I was part of a short conversation with a police officer today. The officer said that he did not see how any other verdict could have been reached.
