    I also passed a bike shop that seemed to have some special event going on. There was a line of people waiting to get in. I was tempted to see what was so special about this bike shop, but instead I kept going.

        @musicman That makes sense. I wasn't aware of a shortage. I suppose it is probably a shortage of quality bikes. I haven't looked, but I suppose Walmart and Target still have their overpriced versions of the $100 KMart special that I rode a few decades ago.
