   I'm sure there are other places to get a more balanced view. This is just the first thing I've seen besides vague rumors.

      Okay, I remember some time in the last few years that #PIA had become a major fiscal sponsor of #Freenode. That, coupled with their PIA's takeover by a shady company a year or two back, should probably have gotten the volunteers to prepare for the possibility of a takeover.
