    #Forest

I used to get impatient--no, just irritated--about weekly "Jimmy Lee and Bambi Show" announcements. There would be one a day before, one an hour or so before, and then a summary afterward.

Then I listened to a couple of episodes. They were good, although at three hours plus, way too long for me.

Then Jimmy had an organ failure and there was the fundraiser (that failed to raise enough money) for oxygen and a transplant. Then Jimmy died. Bambi continued the show for less than a year before hanging it up ... and left the Forest around the same time.

By that time, I felt bad about the time when I had negative feelings about the audiocast's announcements.

So it is with mixed feelings that I see the daily "Radio Regentrude" posting. Every day, I mark it as read and wish I did not have to. I am irritated every day, but I dare not block / mute the poster, because if & when tragedy strikes the poster, I don't want to feel bad about it.

I think only @geniusmusing understands what I'm discussing.

I can tolerate once a day much more than multiple times a day.
