Did a web search for two friends from the early 1980s. Unfortunately, both of them have very common first and last names ... and none of the big engines are very good at only showing links containing the exact first middle last names. No intention to contact or find detailed locations, but I was wondering if either is still alive.
Reminds me of one name combination where there was one person with that name in my elementary school, a different person with that name in my junior high, two different ones in my high schools, plus my youngest brother's friend around the corner from us for my last couple of years of school. (And I think I've worked with a couple of people with that name, but we never worked together for very long.)
Maybe we should all have names like {3EB165E0-5BB1-45D2-9E7D-93B31821F864} instead.

Is this what I have to look forward to in a few years?
How long till I start the day looking at obits?
Asking for a friend...

@geniusmusing I don't bother looking at obits because my former contacts are scattered across the country. I do have siblings who watch the local paper in the area where we grew up, and some that have facebook contacts from the old high school, so I occasionally hear about someone's demise that way.
It is interesting that just a few years ago, it was "Arnold's dad died; Kevin's mom died" and now it is "Cheryl's son died; Mike died".
