When I use "flavor" above, I do not mean that I would put this stuff in my mouth. I imagine that whatever is in it might cause a lot of pain, so that even if the person doesn't die, they'd wish they had.
For many years/decades(?) I used an anti-perspirant but a few years ago I had a similar thing happen and switched to a deodorant. It took a few tries to find one that didn't irritate and wound up using the "tree cutter" deodorant. Surprisingly, I actually sweat less and have no irritation and somehow I don't smell like a teenager.
@geniusmusing This reminds me that in the 1970s, my mom’s doctor said to avoid anti-perspirants and any products which contain aluminum. He recommended applying highly diluted bleach to knock down the bacterial population, followed by a natural, low-fragrance deodorant after it dried.
(He was removing a lot of underarm growths at the time, which also meant sampling the lymph glands to see whether there were signs of expansion.)
I will look at deodorants and try to find something that does not irritate.
