      idk the dets of the story, but Menards is a shitbag company, so I'm inclined to think they are in the wrong.

         @musicman I have seen their signs, but never gone inside of one. Are they just a central states version of Home Depot?

            They are midwest only and compete with Home Depot and Lowes. Mainly in price, not convenience, a simple electrical job may have you go through 3 different departments for what you need. I tried to avoid them whenever I could.

I have lived in Wisconsin and live not so far from there now (an easy weekend morning bike ride to get there). Just trust me on this one.
