TIL in 2011 the CIA used a Hepatitis B vaccination campaign in Pakistan to collect DNA samples from children in order to find Osama Bin Laden relatives and help locate him. As a response the Taliban launched an anti-vaccine propaganda campaign and now that there is a pandemic Punjab has to resort to hardball measures to vaccinate its reticent population.
