Here's my question, why do you need to say that any given person is expressing themselves in a somewhat masculine or feminine manner? What image are you trying to conjure in other people's mind? What if the person you are referring to is non-binary and rejects masculinity and femininity as a binary construct? How do you think it would make them feel if you were talking about them this way?

People aren't toxic because of the way they express their gender, people are toxic because of the way they conceive and talk about gender as a rigid binary masculine-feminine duality with no in-between or outside. This is why "masculinity" and "femininity" are toxic in themselves.
