   Trying to assist someone in #IRC with software I haven't used in a while. I linked the section in the docs that says what to do, but they don't seem to understand it. (To be fair, the config file can be rather complex for no good reason.)
   
   Tempted to spin up the software for a quick test, in the hope that I can pastebin a working config for them to copy.

      I think a combination of what I said and what another person said was enough to help the person solve the issue. (Honestly, the other person's suggestion was critical to solving it. But I still believe mine also helped.)
