    No, one of the other corporations that makes (or made) a JDK offered it as a FOSS project to the foundations and Oracle made threats. I can’t find it in a search right now, but I remember reading about it.

      As far as I'm aware, Adopt is still moving to Eclipse: https://blog.adoptopenjdk.net/2021/03/transition-to-eclipse-an-update/

      That last post was in March though. I'm surprised I don't know if that got nixed.
