   When my mom and one of my sisters tried to talk me into dyeing my hair, I pointed to one spot and said "these hairs turned white when #sonOne was 16", then to another spot and said "these changed colors when #sonTwo was 14 and #Daddy_A was 12" and then told about the events of those time periods. "I earned these. It would be wrong to hide them."

      I remember when I was maybe 30 or so, a friend plucked a hair from my head and gave it to me while telling me it was my first grey hair and suggested I give it to my mother.
      
      When I gave it to my mother she replied "That is not the first grey hair you have given me".
