I was in a fast food place recently and an elderly couple was ordering. The man got angry and hostile toward the employee because she had to ask which burger he wanted.
The manager came over and took over taking the order and she clocked out and left. I do not know if she quit her job or went on her lunch break.
It is #disturbing to mistreat someone who (for job and income reasons) cannot defend themselves. Especially if it is asking a question that she's required to ask in order to keep her job.
Is your #wretched burger worth that? Maybe to you, but I think everyone else present would rather you go hungry than abuse the employees.

If there is one group of people I try to be nicer to it is those in the service area. Tipping well (as long as the service was good or above) in addition to being nice goes a long way towards making their day a little better.
