   I once worked with someone whose name rhymed with 'Koala'. Most of the employees called them koala bear. Their assigned cup even had that on its label.

         It was a long time ago, and I've since become a lot more enlightened, but I bought a labelmaker and replaced the "koala bear" label with "koala bare". The other employee immediately suspected me, but I said "I know how to spell bear".
         
         I honestly don't think most of our co-workers even noticed the difference.

            Now that is also just the kind of thing I would do.
            
            It reminds me of that first day in April when I put a sign on our new (less than a week old) copier/printer that it had voice commands now enabled with basic verbal instructions on it.
            
            It was awesome.
