    Spent a few hours walking around #NYC. Got lost a few times. Got over tired, wandered in front of a couple of cars. Bought a chili cheese dog from a street vendor and sat right there on the street corner to eat.

    It really is true that just a block or two away from where you were, you may find it difficult to find your way back.

      Same thing can happen in Chicago, best thing to do is at the start find a tall landmark or two for reference. If you can get yourself back to being able to see them you are probably within a block or two from where you started.

      But then this is also the "modern" age and we have map thingies in our hands that will tell us where to go but whats the fun in that.
