    I have never understood the attraction of being abusive to retail and restaurant employees. They cannot respond in kind, so there is nothing proved except that someone is a jerk.

    Save that behavior for people who can fight back, because then you and they can prove which one is more powerful.

      Not to mention that at a restaurant they are handling your food before you get it!
