@mayuutann @skoll it's a bit of a bad joke I make. I really don't like emoji and don't have fonts supporting those symbols installed - because of that, they show up as boxes on my computer.

The reason I quote 'stink' in the same way is a bit different - it's just an incredibly silly name for posts Extinct Mammal came up with when Extinct Mammal joined the fediverse.
