Brian ÓAs a book reader, I'm a little confused as to what they're up to. Despite the fact that they've decided not to continue the show and adapt books 7-9, they keep setting up stuff for it. Given that this final season is only 6 episodes it will have to run pretty lean, yet they're bringing in stuff about Laconia from the novellas that won't pay off. Why would they do this?
