Concept designs for the ikigai project (2018). Ikigai is a Japanese concept which translates as purpose for being or raison d'etre (in French). It is when a person finds their purpose by aligning their skills, abilities, aspirations in different parts of their life to achieve harmony and a perfect fit with their reality.

Essentially this is what writing, especially science fiction writing tries to achieve. It tries to define a future where our reality can match our expectations.
