everybody who understands the matter knows that vaccines are not cloaks of invulnerability. no vaccine offers 100% protection. when it comes to covid-19, it lowers the risks of contracting and spreading the virus and, in case you get infected, it lowers the risks of evolving to a serious case or to death.
part of the problem we have now is that people are being misled into dropping other defenses after taking the vaccine. that's as ignorant as refusing to take the vaccine, and almost as dangerous. the vaccines are quite effective, but not effective enough as to render other containment measures useless. please take your shots, and keep on wearing masks, keeping a safe distance, and avoiding crowded places
